Val d'Europe Studios: a summer behind the scenes of cinema!

A flesh-and-blood meeting with R2-D2, a screenplay design workshop, professional make-up to put you in the actor's shoes, a film set or an editing room: this summer, live at the heart of the Seventh Art at the Val d'Europe shopping center... A not-to-be-missed experience for film fans!

Reconstructed sets, cult objects, interactive workshops... until the end of August, Hollywood is coming to Seine-et-Marne, just 35 minutes from Paris!

A unique journey through 4 stages

The stage is set: four spaces, each a key stage in the creation of a film. From the first word on paper to the final mix, you'll discover - and above all experience - what goes on behind the scenes of the 7th art.

The writer's desk: it all starts with an idea

Imagine yourself in an author's shoes. In front of you, scripts and storyboards (including Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom). Next door, a workshop invites you to create your own pitch: choose a character, a place, an action, and off you go. Parents, children, teenagers... here, everyone becomes a creator.

The dressing room: when the character takes shape

Accessories and drawings of mythical costumes from the Starfix Museum collection show you how a character is born. But that's not all: you can think up and design your own character, and every Saturday, an FX make-up pro is on hand to transform you. That's right, you.

The set: the camera is yours

Models of the film Arthur and the Minimoys, dolly rails for smartphones, stop motion at your fingertips... Here, we shoot, frame and animate. With the help of a mediator, you can try out professional filmmaking techniques... in an accessible, ultra-fun version.

The editing room: and emotion takes shape

Then it's time for post-production: editing, sound effects and mixing. Thanks to an interactive digital table, you can assemble sequences and create your own film. As an added bonus, an exhibition of cult posters(Back to the Future, E.T., Matrix) rounds off the experience like the credits roll.

The iconic R2-D2(Star Wars), Trinity's costume(Matrix Reloaded),Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Planet of the Apes, Jurassic Park or Valérian et la Cité des Mille Planètes... Val d'Europe Studios also offers rare objects to see up close and personal, and to tell your friends about!

To extend your adventure: head for Imagi Park

Right next to Val d'Europe Studios, discover Imagi Park, the center's brand-new indoor leisure center. Spanning more than 13,000 m², this spectacular venue is already home to four first sensational experiences:

• Speed Park, with go-karting, bowling, billiards, laser tag and karaoke...
• Fort Boyard Aventures, the immersiveaction game inspired by the cult TV show,
• KOJUMP with its trampolines,climbing walls, Scratch Walls and Jump Tower.
• Gold's Gym, a world icon in fitness and bodybuilding, and one of the first branches in France.
